#7 Movie - Romeo and Juliet

Assalamualaikum ,
           So , today , I spent two hours watching Romeo and Juliet on my laptop . I have read the script yet could not understand the flow . Two hours were worth spent on because I never watched a movie that use old English and it did impressed me upon the beauty of the language .
           Upon watching it , I found that the movie is humorous yet yield a serious topic . On the last scene , where Romeo drank the poison and died , Juliet complained on why not Romeo leave friendly drop  for her . I laughed hardly on her words that she even claimed the poison to be something that is worth to share for . But , it is a poison ! How can she talked lightly about drinking poison ? And , how can be humorous on such thing ? Maybe , I cannot blame too much on how old people communicate each other because the language is beauty itself ; the art to convey messages . About the story line , I do not say that I hate it or much , loathe it , it is more like , I am not prefer with such flow . Love for someone is seem to be more important that life , that Juliet took her own life for dead Romeo . I could not judge them harshly as I have never be in love before , but , to die for someone else sake is insane .
          The Romeo and Juliet story is worth watching and I would say that I would watch this movie again . I watched the 1968 version where it reflected on the lifestyle of the old times before modernization occur . The settings is what I prefer the most ; the old buildings , fountains and bazar . The old language does also attract my attention .
          I really recommend this movie as it is a worth watching for better understanding on this William Shakespeare's writing . This movie is not suitable for underage as it shows some inappropriate scenes , but do watch it , and you will not miss out the beauty of the old English .

               I will countersig these papers so they can be actioned .

- feeling or showing concern for someone who is sick , hurt, poor ,etc. : having or showing compassion
              She is such a compassionate person for taking care her ill brother patiently .

#3 Novel review - To Kill A Mocking Bird

To kill a Mocking Bird review

   To Kill A Mocking Bird is never been in my checklist . So , when Miss Jo assigned us to read the book , it was quite difficult for me- not used with that kind of genre . But , halfway in fathoming the book , the story line caught my attention . I found it intriguing and funny , thus concluded that I enjoyed the book .

   To Kill A Mocking Bird written by Harper Lee is about a girl called Scout with her brother , Jem together with their father Atticus Finch. In the story , Atticus works as a lawyer , was assigned to help the client which is black to prove his innocence . Throughout the interval before the case was discussed , Atticus and his children had to face critics and teases from their neighborhood on how Atticus turned his back on them and backing up the black . In other scenes, the book also discussed about Mrs. Duboise ,Scout in school and their mystery neighborhood , Radley’s family . All this stories were having the same theme , focusing on what is wrong and right .

From the story , I learned that we should judge something unbiased . In the story , the black people who was blamed to be guilty has proven that he is innocence all along . But , due to the fact he is coloured , he was being judged to be guilty even though all the evidences have been shown . He was being lock up into prison and punished . In just being different , we should not judge them with bias . We should follow the law and being just to prove who is right or wrong . 

#6 Movie - The Longest Ride

Assalamualaikum , readers !
             Yesterday night , I watched this movie alone ,wrapping myself with my red blanket , and totally watching it in darkness . Everyone had already asleep at that time . I could say that I slept quite late yet I am the earliest person to wake up this morning among my roommates .

           The Longest Ride . Upon reading the title , it somehow questions the audience about what is the story about . Is it about an adventure ? A ride to somewhere far away ? When I watched it , it is actually about the longest ride that everyone is facing and experiencing right now , even the moment you are reading this post . The longest ride is life itself . Life of each person .

             So , the story tells us about what should we do in this short time . Caring for your loved ones and do not selfish . In the story , Sofia and Luke , a couple , face many challenges and conflicts due to their different in their passion ; Luke is into Bull riding whereas Sofia really likes art . When each other learns about their partner's passion , they feel uneasy and not fit in to their interest . When Sofia starts to make Luke stop from entering any Bull riding competition , Luke is totally in mad and furious due to the facts that he cannot his passion as it is part of his life . He is selfish and end up loses Sofia . In the end , after hearing her mother's advice , he reunites with Sofia and convinces her that he will leave Bull riding . They start a new life and live happily ever after .
 
           I really like the story even though there are few scenes that are inappropiate . It is worth watching because the movie tells us good deeds and qualities on how we supposedly treasure our times with the loved ones . #5 Movie - Another Cinderella Story

Assalamualaikum readers ,
               I have watched Another Cinderella Story before ( when I meant before , its means way back then before I ever know MADPP ) . It is a chick-lit movie for a teenager especially girls .

                Mary , the not-so popular kid who have lost both her parents , live with her wicked step-mother and her two annoying sisters in a mansion . Mary is a really good dancer and she wishes to pursue her studies in a University where she can improve her skills . In the meantime , she encounters Joey Parker , a celebrity who studies in her school . He is very handsome , blessed with sea blue eyes and a charming smile , adds up with cute curly blonde hair . Girls are totally mad in love with him . The story goes on when their school hold a dance party during night . The thing about the party is , the theme is black and white and they should wear mask . Mary goes to the party and keeps aware of the time to not to pass the midnight or else , she will be busted for escaping . Coincidentally , she dances with Joey Parker and somehow , they become attach to each other . That night , Mary accidentally loses her music player and Joey Parker picks it . When he tries to search who is the owner , many girls claim that it is theirs . After few obstacles , Joey meets Mary .Many challenges they encounters , a misunderstanding , conflicts and much more . Eventually , the story end with such a happy ending where finally , Mary succeed to pursue her studies and also , lucky to be loved by Joey Parker , her crush .
               
                What I learnt from the story is that , as a person , we should not exposed someone secret as it is a breach of privacy . In the story , Mary's rival purposely shows a video of Mary when she was small . Mary is totally embarrassed because the video reveals her love confessions toward Joey Parker and Joey watches it . She runs away , feeling insecure that he might not like her . From that scene , I learnt that exposing someone privacy is not a good thing , instead it is really bad because the victim may feel depressed . Be it a good or bad story that being kept secret , people should not disturb it as it is a people's right .


   I really like the story really much and I really recommend the movie for any ages . It is appropiate and soothing as well , with few jokes and puns . Easy to digest , by mean understand the context and also the story is a modified of Cinderella's original story .

#4 Movie - Love , Rosie

  The story has a happy ending but somehow I found it tragic and sad . Haha . Irrelevant .

            Rosie , a British girl , has a best friend which happened to be a boy named , Alex . They were so close to each other since they were small up until they were adults . The problem is , they are too close that they unconsciously , love each other yet not realizing the feeling . As they try to deny their jealousy when each of them found a partner , things became worse . Rosie gave up on pursuing her studies due to that she is pregnant and Alex became stressed out after series of break up with his girlfriends . They became further apart yet still care for each other . In the end , finally , Alex realized his feeling toward Rosie and confessed through letter . However , it fell to the wrong hand which is Greg's who was Rosie' husband . Greg purposely hid the letter but when they broke up , she found it in a drawer where it was hidden . She was too late to admit her love when she heard Alex is going to marry Bethany . However , after hearing her friend's advice , she went to the wedding , claiming that she can stop it . But , again , she was late . Time passes by and Rosie liven up her dream ; having her own hotel . She worked on it and during the opening ceremony of the hotel , Alex showed up , saying that he wanted to book a room for himself . At that time , Rosie and Alex confessed their feelings . Finally , they were together again .

           The movie is really interesting  even though it's ending can be predicted . It is soothing and sweet on how they care for each other as they claim it is because they are only best friends . Apart from the explicit scenes , from the movie , I learn that we should care for each other . Like how Rosie and Alex , they always there to help whenever each of them is having a problem . 

           For me , I totally recommend the movie but not for children . It is because , the story shows inappropiate scenes which is not suitable for them to watch . By the way , I  totally enjoyed watching it !
