Notoriety
- the state of being famous or well known for some bad quality or deed
               The song has gained some notoriety in the press .

Coax
- persuade (someone) gradually or gently to do something .
                The trainees were coaxed into doing boring work .
- obtain something from ( someone) by gradual or gentle persuasion
                 We coaxed our fare money out of my father
- arranged (something) carefully into a particular shape or position

Spur
- (n) a device with a small spike or a spiked wheel that is worn on  a rider's heel and used for urging a horse forward
                 
-  (n) a thing that prompts or encourages someone ; an incentive .
                 Wars act as a spur to practical invention .

- (v) urge ( a horse ) forward by digging one's spurs into its sides
                   She spurred her horse towards the hedge .

- (v) prune in ( a side shoot of a plant ) so as to form a spur close to the stem .
                 Spur back the lateral shoots .

Plummet
-(v) fall or drop straight down at high speed .
